Formal evening wear is encouraged, so dress your best, but don't overthink it. We encourage everyone to embrace the occasion and dress to celebrate

Our ceremony will be held on base at HMAS Watson. As this is a military base, there are some safety and security requirements. On the day, please kindly remember to bring a physical photo ID (e.g. Drivers License) as you will need to be signed in upon arrival. For those arriving by uber or taxi, please use the destination HMAS Watson Chapel. Unfortunately, taxis and Ubers are not permitted on base, however they are able to drop you at the front gate (a few parking space are available for drop-off/pick-up). If you are driving yourself or are being dropped off by a family member/friend, please let us know and we can arrange access to be dropped off on base. Please note that there is a bit of a steep hill between the front gate and the chapel. If you think you may require assistance to get from the front gate to the chapel, please let us know as soon as possible. As the venue is a military base, please note that access is only available to the chapel on the day. Please be aware of signage indicating where guests of the chapel are permitted (also see maps below). Between the ceremony and the reception, you are welcome to mingle in the gardens adjacent to the chapel, before making your way to the reception venue for 6.30pm (approx. 15 minute drive). Your presence on our special day is the greatest gift of all, especially with so many of you making the trip from interstate, but if you would like to contribute a gift, a wishing well will be available at our reception.
